Prior to joining Kasowitz, Jay served as Senior Vice President of Global IP at Ranbaxy Laboratories, an international generic pharmaceutical company, where he was responsible for the creation of the company’s global intellectual property department. Including his Ranbaxy tenure, Jay has had significant experience handling Hatch-Waxman and Biosimilars matters for the last 25 years.
Ideation and IP due diligence of Pharmaceutical products and technologies like: Drug Device and AI technologies, API, Organic intermediates, dosage forms like solid orals (IR and NDDS), solutions, suspensions, parenterals, ophthalmics, radiopharmaceuticals, contrast agents, allergenic extracts/biologicals, veterinary dosage forms for multiple Global markets like US, EU, Canada, Japan, Australia and other ROW countries.
